hmm geo lesson was really meaningful for me.. (: today, i learnt that 30 million people die of hunger related disease every year, but the world has provided enough food for the world's population. so why is this happening? people in other countries can be eating till they are over weight, whereas people in other countries do not even have the energy to shoo a fly, circling around them, away. if only governments are not corrupted, if only people from the other countries can eat lesser and donate some food to people who are starving badly. if only, humans arent selfish creatures. someday, i wanna do something to help that society out there. be it a simple act like donations, or perhaps being a doctor. as compared to saving lives, drums is second. (: this world is weird.
ever since i came back from the ocip trip, im really sensitive to such stuffs. learnt to treasure a lot of things, including the most basic stuffs like the roads we walk on. really people, Singapore is a really fortunate country. wait till you see the rural areas. now, i wish i can grow up quickly and help other people who are just like us, only that they are less fortunate.
new goal: study hard so i can help others in life. (:
